Oh Baby!

We have all been waiting SO long to find out what our sweet little nugget is & when that moment finally came… everything in the world seemed to be, well, just perfect.

We received the enclosed letter from our Doctor in July…. JULY Y’ALL!!! Do you know how bad it was killing everyone at the fact that it was hidden at my sisters house for over a month!?! I’m not sure I could go that long the next round.

The gender reveal planning began as soon as I found out I was pregnant, I knew exactly what I wanted the party to look like, decor, drinks, food, & even how we were going to announce the gender, regardless if it was a boy or girl. Paul was very supportive on all of my decisions….his response to everything I decided to do was, “just don’t go too overboard babe.” haha.. oh boys..

With the help of my amazing sister, we had everything thought out within days of selecting a date, ordered & ready to be shipped. All we needed was our special someone to call a few vendors & let them know either pink or blue & of course the big day to arrive!

The party was beyond what I imagined it would be like. It was perfect. It could not have been a more beautiful day with our closest friends & family all there to celebrate our baby. Everyone was in such high spirits, so anxious to find out, so ready to know which color monograms would go on blankets, bibs, clothes & to be honest, I was SO ready to know as well!

We started with cocktails & mingling, everyone in these photos has a special place in our heart. As much as Paul & I expressed it… they will all still never know how much it meant to us to have each of them there.

My amazing, selfless & beautiful sister!

My 90 year old Mawmaw, our baby girl makes her 9th great-grandchild.

My sweet MiMi brought these little toy trucks & put them in a couple of spots for me to find! She was definitely “Team Boy!”

My Momma & Mother-In-Law trying to figure out (by the baby foot sonogram…) if it was a boy or girl! haha

All of these loving faces are my family: the ones who raised me, the ones I grew up with, the ones I married into, the ones I’ve been so grateful to become so close with along the way.  Regardless of how I know them, they are the ones I cherish the most.

After a ton of photos (that I will spare you all from) & our big group photo, we all made a trip to the front yard for the big reveal!!

Let love flutter….

My perfect little family.

~SO ready to add our sweet little GIRL to this world~

XO~ Kate

On a side note: I want to brag for a moment. The man I married is the most gracious, thoughtful, loving, level-headed, smart, driven, compassionate & handsome man & MY GOODNESS, I am so blessed that he is mine. Before we found out what we were having, I knew deep down, he wanted a little boy… but, when he found out that we were having a little girl… OMG there are no words for the amount of love & excitement we both felt. He is one amazing husband, I know he will be one amazing daddy & our little girl will be wrapped around his finger..  just like her mommy.

We love you babe!
